Shred Time Surf Comp 2024

The Surf Comp was a huge success in 2023 and we are aiming to keep the same vibe, but expand the event at the same time. We felt the most important aspect was to run the event over 2 days, to allow more time for the comp and more people to enter. We have a host of onland activities planned to keep you entertained too.

Venue: Graythwaite Adventure on the shores of Lake Windermere, Cumbria, UK

Entry Fee: £50 per person and includes a medal and tee shirt for every entrant.

All entrants must sign up online before the competition. We have limited numbers, it is first come, first served. We are expecting the entrants to sell out, well in advance of the comp - book now to avoid disappointment.

Tow Boat: Malibu Boats UK

Travel by: Car Park on site, plus jetties to moor your boat too. Please note extra jetty being added for 2024 event. You can also anchor your boat in the bay, plenty of SUPs and small boats to bring you to shore.

Bell Tent Clamping: Some very limited clamping on site in Bell Tents, please email tim@industrywake.co.uk if you are interested.

Food & Drink: Bring your own, or enjoy various street food offerings from Boaters Bar pop up stalls. Hot drinks, soft drinks, alcohol and food available both days, all day.

Party: We have made the decision to concentrate all our efforts on an awesome Surf Comp and mega family friendly day. If the weather is on our side, we will be serving drinks into the late evening and enjoying our spectacular venue right on the shore of the lake. If its raining, we will most likely all meet for drinks later in the evening at Boaters Bar if you wanted to join in. But the plan is to have an epic day on the lake with family and friends and make the most of the lakeside venue.

Daily Format: Practice sessions in the mornings, comp in the afternoon. Once entrants are in, we will work out which divisions ride on Saturday and which ride on Sunday. Most likely will be Rookie on Saturday and Shredder on Sunday. There will also be practice sessions available on Friday evening.
