What We Do
Shred Time is a passion project from the crew at Industry Wake Parks and is all about keeping your Stoke and Smile as big as possible when you’re out on the water.
For the last 15 years we have been growing the sport of cable wakeboarding by opening new wake parks all over the UK and Ireland and we love nothing more than introducing new people to the sports we love and to the huge social benefits and happiness that water can bring to people’s lives.
We currently have a slight addiction to riding foils and surfing the greatest lake in the World and spending as much time as possible on Lake Windermere with our kids and families. We want to pass on the experiences we have learnt and help get you buzzing and shredding on the lake in the best way possible, hence we have created Shred Time.
Our roots are deeply engrained on Lake Windermere, we grew up on Hill Of Oaks and we have been shredding Lake Windermere since the 1980’s, we have been groms working at Windermere Aquatics, been involved in co-owning the Ski Shack back in the Noughties, created the first ever wakeboard competitions on the lake, Wake Windermere, back in 1998 and Dave created and ran the wakeboard hot spot of Pine Lake, in South Cumbria. We have over 5 decades of combined experience working in this sport and playing in, on and under the water.
Shred Time is about enhancing your experience on the water. We offer boat driving skills, wakeboard, wakesurf or foil coaching, we excel in helping get your young kids up, riding and progressing and we can help get your wake setup perfectly for the sport you want to do.
We know the lake like the back of our hand, so if you just bought a boat for the first time we can help you learn the lake and how to drive the boat and start shredding behind it. The kit you buy is mega important for keeping you and your kids In Love with this sport and adventure and we truly believe in ‘try before you buy’ and offer that on everything we sell. The wrong kit will destroy peoples chances of progressing and learning, especially with kids or when trying to hydro foil. We can lend you kit to take on your boat or we can come out with you and coach you and advise on the best kit for you. Everything we sell, is available for demo. Try before you buy and ensure you get the right gear. We are also creating a line of clothes that links your love of shredding Lake Windermere with what you wear, we hope you like them.
